Manage Delivery Orders and Delivery Staff
Assign deliveries, track drivers, and confirm customer receipt.
Delivery orders let you sell to a customer who is not in the shop and track the delivery through to confirmation.
When to use this
Use it when customers order by phone or WhatsApp, or when you deliver large items like cement, tiles or furniture.
Step-by-step
- Create a sale as usual. Add products and customer.
- Mark For Delivery. Toggle Delivery on the sale screen.
- Enter delivery details. Address, phone, optional delivery fee.
- Assign a delivery agent. Pick from staff with the delivery role.
- Driver updates status. Out for Delivery, then Delivered.
- Confirm receipt. On delivery, the agent collects payment or signature and marks the sale confirmed.
Common issues
- No delivery agent to pick: give a staff member the Delivery Agent role under Team.
- Delivery fee missing from total: enter the fee in the delivery section before confirming the sale.
