Create Product Quotations (Devis)
Send a professional quotation to a customer before they buy.
A quotation (devis) is a written price offer you give to a customer before the sale is confirmed.
When to use this
Builders, contractors and wholesale buyers usually ask for a devis before placing a large order. It fixes the price for a period.
Step-by-step
- Open Quotations. From the business menu, tap Quotations.
- Tap New Quotation. Add the customer (or create one).
- Add products and quantities. Prices fill in automatically but can be adjusted.
- Set an expiry date. Typically 7 to 30 days.
- Share or print. Send the PDF by WhatsApp, email, or print.
- Convert when accepted. Tap Convert to Sale to turn the quotation into an invoice and reduce stock.
Common issues
- Stock moved too early: only the conversion step reduces stock. A pending quotation does not.
- Prices changed after quotation: the customer gets the price that was on the devis, even if you updated prices later.
