Process Rental Returns

Return rented items and close rental orders.

Process a rental return

  1. In the POS, tap the Rentals button in the toolbar.
  2. Search for the customer or browse active rentals.
  3. Select the rental to return.
  4. For each item, set the return quantity and condition:
    • Good – item returned in normal condition.
    • Fair – minor wear.
    • Damaged – add damage notes.
    • Lost – item not returned.
  5. Tap Confirm Return.

Adjust or cancel a rental

From the rental detail screen you can also:

  • Adjust Items – change quantities on an active rental.
  • Cancel Rental – cancel the entire order. All items are marked as returned.
