Working offline
SmartSell is designed to work even when you lose internet connectivity.
What works offline
- Browsing products and searching in the POS.
- Adding items to cart and completing sales.
- Credit sales and rental transactions.
How sync works
- The POS toolbar shows an Online/Offline indicator (green dot = online, red dot = offline).
- When offline, transactions are saved locally. A pending count badge shows how many are waiting.
- When connection returns, tap the Sync button or wait for automatic sync.
- Synced transactions upload to the server and update your reports and inventory.
You can continue selling without interruption. All data syncs automatically when you are back online.
