Manage API Tokens (Developer Access)

API tokens let external tools (accounting software, dashboards, integrations) talk to SmartSell on behalf of your business.

When to use this

When connecting SmartSell to a third-party app or building an in-house integration.

Step-by-step

1. Open Settings > Developer > API Tokens.
2. Tap New Token.
3. Label it. For example Accounting.
4. Pick scope. Read-only or read/write.
5. Copy the token. It is shown only once.
6. Revoke if compromised.

Common issues

• Lost the token: you cannot view it again. Create a new one and revoke the old.
• 401 errors: the token is revoked or missing scopes.
